Jet Raider is the largest mono-hull in the Fullers Ferry fleet. 15 years worth of antifouling was coming off - literally in sheets - due to so many applications. It was calculated that there was nearly 2.5t of antifouling on the hull.

The only way to remove this was to abrasive blast the old paint off. To keep within environmental laws this needed to be contained so blasting outside was not an option. Jet Raider was travel lifted into the TOG shed at Gulf Harbour and a scaffolding structure with shrink wrap was constructed to enclose the 6m of boat extending out the shed.

Wetnose is a 19m ocean going cruising yacht by Van da Stadt. She had a full repaint during the winter of ’08 in our facilities at Gulf Harbour.

Being of steel construction and with some dubious hose connections in the deck coamings there was extensive corrosion that resulted in the entire back half of the coamings & coaming floor being replaced.

Toyshop is a Lotus 10.6 designed by Alan Wright in a double diagonal construction.

Toyshop is owned by a senior ISAF Principle Race Officer and has been used as a committee boat for many ISAF World Championship held in Auckland. Just about all the dings and repairs have a story behind them – be it from an Etchell, Laser Radial, RSX or a Tornado. Needless to say the finish was ‘tired’.

Yakuun is one of the larger private motor vessels in the world at 65m in length.

TOG painted Yaakun at the slipway of Titan Marine during the winter of 2007. This was TOG biggest scaffolding and tenting job to date and involved custom made heaters to keep the environment at a suitable temperature to paint. Some 700m of shrink wrap was used to enclose the 5 levels of scaffolding and roof. This structure survived the July hurricane needing only minor repairs and no delay to the schedule.

Amante was the genesis for the new shed to be built at Gulf Harbour in 2000. In order for TOG to paint Amante a shed of a suitable size was required to be accessible by the 110T travel lift.

Amante is a Delta 65’ heavy displacement vessel for an experienced and highly knowledgeable client. She was painted in Awlgrip Flag Blue for the Hull Topsides and Eggshell White for the Superstructure. No expense was spared with the final coats being painted off scissors lifts and cherry pickers to reduce any chance of dust.

Lanakai II is one of the biggest sport fisher vessels in NZ at 27m/90' in length. Built by Friendship Yachts in Whangarei she was launched in 2002.

Lanakai's fastidious owner has an eye for detail and TOG provided. Lanakai II had a complete repaint from the fly-bridge mast to the antifouling over the winter of 2008 at Gulf Harbour.
